About Us

2nd Annual Fish Creek Cleanup Challenge Saturday January 25, 2020 9 am in Arlington & Grand Prairie

Come Prepared

Sign up early with the  Travis Manion Foundation or The Mission Continues!  Help us get the word out by talking with family, neighbors and friends.  Fish Creek is suffocating under years of litter and debris.  Help us help our community and the environment.

Just one of the dumpsters from 1st Annual Fish Creek Cleanup Challenge.

Get Involved

Fish Creek flows along almost 8 miles of Fish Creek Linear Trail in Arlington and Grand Prairie.  It flows into Black Creek Lake.  If we do not cleanup this environmental disaster it will flow on down to the Trinity and on to the  Gulf of Mexico and into the worlds oceans.

This is a great community service opportunity to volunteer for this year!

Help us get the word out and share.

Register online with the Travis Manion Foundation as part of the Operation Legacy Project that honors Sgt Gregory L Hunter and Officer Jillian Michelle Smith.  Register early to guarantee a t-shirt!  Or register online at The Mission Continues as part of their MLK Day of Service.  TMF and TMC will meet at Fish Creek Neighborhood Park.

The City of Arlington is providing bags, gloves and a very limited number of tools.  Wear long sleeves, long pants, sunscreen and closed toe shoes or rain boots.  Bring your own gloves if you have a pair!  Bring helping hands and a glad heart.  Just get the bags to the trail and Parks & Rec will take it from there.
